Ticket system for sharing spaces (add-on)

We have realized that not everybody uses imedu to host classes for students, some people (creators) want to create spaces where they display content and create a virtual course. Especially for this group of creators that would like to offer their classes or course material to other individuals we have integrated a ticket system. 

Ticket System 

In order to accommodate the creator's wishes, we have integrated a ticket system in imedu. This ticket system allows for creators of a virtual class or course to share their content for 24 hours with a third party. To allow access to the spaces of creators they need to distribute so-called 'tickets'. Tickets are a unique pin code that gives access to a virtual copy of the space(s) created by the owner. The owner has created the virtual space including all the content and with these tickets, they can have a good overview of with whom they share their virtual copy. Currently, creators buy a certain amount of tickets, that they hand out to their customers.

Creator Account

Creators that want to distribute tickets, so they can sell their virtual spaces to third parties, will need to register for a special 'creator' account. Moreover, the creator account comes with different terms and conditions which will need to be approved. Besides, agreeing to the new terms and conditions creators will need to request us to make their spaces 'bookable'. Once your space is made 'bookable', we will create your own public space listing, which is a landing page where all users of your space can fill in there unique ticket codes. The url of this public space listing can be put on your website or just simply shared with all the users of your space. In addition, users with a creator account could request help with custom designs or avatars.  

Process of using a ticket

How does the process of actually the ticket system then work, after you have switched to a creator's account and requested us to make your space 'bookable'. The first step is to buy any number of tickets, this now has to be done manually upon request, but soon there will be an option directly on the website of imedu. You will receive a number of ticket codes that can be used once for 24 hours by a third party. The clients to whom you will sell your content will receive a ticket code from you together with a link to the public space listing. The teacher or other buyer of your content goes to your space and fills in his/her email address together with the ticket code. Now they will be able to explore and use the copy of your virtual space.
