Learning methods
To help you find a space that matches your purpose, spaces are categorized in 'learning methods'
Virtual field trips
With a virtual fieldtrip you bring your students to one or more locations to explain a specific concept or theory. Students can learn by exploring and discussing the available learning materials, optionally supported by instructions, tasks and assignments.
Collaboration & creations
In collaboration spaces, your students work (remotely) on projects or assignments. You can also let your students work on their own 3D models or experiences, which can then directly be explored by teachers or external visitors.
Meetup & expositions
When organizing meetups and expositions, students and teachers meet each other in a virtual spaces, to discuss specific topics or showcase their work. Don't forget you can also invite people from outside your organization or school.
Instruction & demonstration
A traditional learning method, which can be a better way to bring remote students together. Make sure to use the possibilities of the 3D space and focus on concepts, and extend your instruction with 3D models or interactive assignments.
Self-learning adventures
In this learning method, students learn in gamified self-learning environments. These environments are suitable for exploring, usually have a more exciting theme, and have plenty locations for placing different assignments and learning materials.
Roleplay & simulation
Communicating with avatars creates many opportunities to exercise in a more safe environment. Think about students practising language or difficult conversations, or practising specific skills in a simulated environment.
