Screenshots

If you want to make a screenshot, you can simply access the space on a laptop and use the normal screenshot features of you OS.

  • For a better result, hide the buttons of the imedu U.I by pressing CTRL + `` (This button can be found next to the 1/! button on most keyboards)
  • Hide the Taskbar on your computer or laptop
  • Press Print Screen (or ALT + PrtScreen)button if you wish to screenshot an active window. To screenshot a part of screen, press Win + Shift + S at the same time.

Screen recordings

Screenrecordings can be made in the same way, but with a separate application.
To make easy screen recordings we recommend "Loom", an easy to use app with a free plan. If you don't want to use a cloud solution, you can download a custom screenrecording app like OBS, which is a free open-source application.

Camera Tool

A fun feature in imedu is the 'Camera Tool 'which can be used for taking photos or videos of objects, avatars, or the whole room. Moreover, there is also a tracking mode that follows an object or avatar while taking pictures or recording a video. To use the camera:

  • Open ''Tools'''

  • Click on ''Camera''
  • A camera will appear with different options
  • To make a photo press on the camera on the ''Photo icon''
  • To make a video press on the ''Video icon''

  • Note: With pressing on the arrows on the right and left you to change the options of the Camera tool such as recording time of the video recording.
  • To turn on tracking mode press the space bar when hovering an object or avatar
